St George Open Air Cinema

Open Air Cinema is about making the most of summer in the fabulous city of Sydney.

Sitting on Mrs Macquaries Point looking out over a backdrop that spans the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and city skyline, it's hard to imagine a better location anywhere in the world.

To make the most of the stunning spot, we partner with one of Sydney's leading caterers to create a harbourside restaurant and bar where patrons gather from early evening. The atmosphere within the event becomes vibrant as more than 1000 people meet, eat and enjoy the experience in the hours before screenings. Then, at nightfall, our giant 350 square metre screen is hydraulically raised to stand three storeys high before an 1850 seat grandstand. A thirty two speaker surround system completes as unrivalled cinematic experience.
